Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-06-14

This Privacy Policy explains how CramPack collects, uses, stores, and shares information related to your account and study materials on https://crampack.app.

1. Information we process

  • Account information: email address, username, avatar, login method, basic Google sign-in profile information, and authentication or security data.
  • Study materials: pasted text, extracted text from text-readable PDFs, subject name, focus notes, analysis results, candidate knowledge points, generated review cards, edits, and export logs.
  • Usage and credit information: generation counts, credit balance, subscription or credit-pack status, payment events, refund events, and necessary audit records.
  • Technical information: IP address, device and browser information, logs, errors, language, theme, session state, and performance data.

2. PDFs and source materials

The CramPack MVP processes text-readable PDFs. We do not store the original PDF file as a long-term file; to provide history, continued editing, export, and study features, we store extracted text, generated results, and review cards you edit later.

3. How we use information

  • To provide material analysis, review-card generation, web review, PDF export, and Anki CSV export.
  • To save your decks, versions, edits, and export history so you can continue using them.
  • To manage accounts, login, security, abuse prevention, daily free limits, credit deductions, subscriptions, and payment status.
  • To debug issues, improve the product experience, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party services

To operate CramPack, we may send necessary information to service providers, including cloud hosting and database services, AI model providers, Google sign-in, Creem payments, email or support tools, and necessary analytics and performance monitoring services.

Sensitive payment details such as card numbers and payout accounts are generally handled directly by payment services such as Creem. CramPack does not store full card or payout account details.

5. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect account security, remember language and theme preferences, store web study-session progress, and perform necessary performance and security monitoring. See the Cookie Policy for more information.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain history, process payments, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. You can delete decks or contact support to request deletion of account-related information; some legal, payment, risk, or audit records may need to be retained longer.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid uploading highly sensitive materials that should not be processed by AI or online services.

8. Your choices and rights

  • You can delete decks, edit review cards, or sign out in the product.
  • You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
  • To access, correct, or delete personal information, contact support@crampack.app.

9. Minors

CramPack is intended for exam-preparing students and adult learners. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you should use the Service with parent or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Contact

Privacy questions can be sent to support@crampack.app. The service is operated as CramPack; personal addresses, identity documents, tax IDs, and payout information are not published on the website.
